In Love with Crystal Healing

When I started to learn beading about 8 or 9 years ago, i didn’t really pay attention to the crystals or the beads I was using. I was focussing on the color, the model and not so much about the healing properties. And I absolutely didn’t aware that the crystals have healing powers whatsoever.

Well, I love magic… And I do believe in miracles. Ever since I was a little girl, I wished that miracles, fairies, mermaids, wizards were real. So when my sister in law introduced me to the world of crystal healing, I felt like I found ‘magic’ in a way.

Crystals do work magically if we use it right. Just like miracles, it happens if we believe in it. Some people though, would say it’s a coincidence… But I prefer to see it as a miracle, something like a touch of God. And the crystals are given to us by mother nature, to give some miracles around us.

What about you? Do you believe in miracles and the magic of crystal healing?

The first crystals that I learned are the ones I love to work with (up until now) and would like it to be my signature in my jewelry designs. First is my birthstone, the lovely Moonstone. Before I knew it was my birthstone, I already loved the color and the shine of the stone. Later I also learned that Moonstone comes in other color than white, but I love all colors of Moonstone. They are so gentle, feminine, and has a unique shine. It looks very glamourous, yet also very down to earth.

Then there are Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Amazonite and Black Onyx. Why these crystals? Well, simply because I love those colors. But later on, I learned that the crystals we are attracted to are the ones that give the right healing properties to us.

So, just a tip for you when choosing the right crystal. Trust your feeling, and don’t think too much about what it does. You would be overwhelmed. The crystal that you see first is most probably the crystal for you! It’s that simple.
